UPDATE : Mimi has made amazing progress since being in her foster home and has really adapted to homelife.

This beautiful girl has great recall, sits and waits for her food. She is very gentle around older children (she has not met small children) and new people. But most of all she loves playing with her foster sister.

While she currently lives with another dog, Mimi would be equally content as the only dog in a household, as long as she receives the love and attention she truly deserves. She is very playful and would be best suited to an active family who can continue with her training.

Mimi is also comfortable around the resident cats, making her a wonderful addition to a loving home.

History

Mimi's start in life was heart breaking. Abandoned at just two days old and left to die, she was fortunately found just in time. She was later adopted by a family in Romania, but sadly, what should have been her 'happily ever after' was not meant to be. The child in the home mistreated Mimi, causing her significant trauma. Thankfully, this was noticed, and Mimi was taken back into foster care. Her foster family in Romania worked tirelessly with her, and, despite her difficult past, she has not developed a fear of children.

• Homes without direct access to a secure and private garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
