Application to Adopt a Dog

For people in the UK wishing to adopt a dog from Romania

Adopting a rescue dog, that has probably been abused and mistreated, can bring different challenges (but also special rewards) to obtaining a young dog from a breeder. The dogs may well take time to adjust to their new home, and often will need basic training, sometimes house training, as you would a puppy.

These rescue dogs are very special, which is why we take such care to match the needs of the dog as closely as possible to the ideal and forever home.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Our minimum age for adoption is 24

  • The applicant must be the homeowner or named on the leasehold or tenancy agreement

  • We are unable to consider homes with children under 5, with children 5-10 we are only able to offer a puppy of under 6 months

  • We are unable to consider homes without direct access to a secure garden

  • We do not place dogs in homes with an unneutered resident dog unless this has not been done for medical reasons

  • We are unable to consider homes where a member of the household is pregnant
