Gigi’s Journey: From Terrified Stray to Loving Companion – Could You Be Her Forever Home?
Rescued from a life of fear, Gigi is now safe and searching for her forever family…
We first met Gigi when she was brought to our spayathon in June. A kind man had found her in the fields, with her little ears covered in ticks, and she was due to be released back into the fields after her spay. But FAR couldn’t let that happen and decided to take her in.
Fast forward four months, and Gigi has now arrived at her foster home in Dorset. Here’s what her foster mum has to say about her:
Gigi has only been with us for four days, but she’s already starting to grow in confidence. She’s learning that hands aren’t so scary—they give yummy treats and lovely massages!
She’s clean through the night and uses puppy pads during the day. However, the outside world is still a bit frightening for her. We’re spending short periods in the garden before she scurries back indoors to the safety she knows.
Gigi has taken a special liking to one of our dogs and follows him everywhere, even snuggling up next to him to sleep. Because of this, we think Gigi would do best in a home with another confident dog to keep her company.
It’s still early days for Gigi, but with the right family, plenty of patience, and lots of love, she’ll make a wonderful companion. She’s incredibly gentle and has the sweetest nature.
Gigi comes with full rescue back up. Adoption Fee of £545 and home check apply.
