Meet Silky - Our Gentle Little Man

This gentle soul dreams of a warm bed and someone to call his own.

I don’t think we can ever imagine the pain that poor Silky was experiencing when he was found in the road. Sarcoptic mange has ravaged almost all of his skin. Every movement was excruciating for him. His eyes were so badly infected he could hardly see. He would not have had long left if he had remained on the streets.

But with months of medical treatment and the love and care of his rescuer, Silky now has his beautiful coat of fur back. His eyes are all clear and he can run and play with the other dogs.

Silky would very much like to put Romania behind him and start a new life in the UK. And we can’t think a dog more deserving. He is approximately 7/8 years old. Very gentle and loving. He will need to be bathed more regularly but he is an expert at being washed. Please if you can provide Silky with a kind and committed home, we would love to hear from you.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Silky:

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 10 years old

• Homes without direct access to private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
