Super cute Snickers

Meet Snickers…

Although Snickers arrived anxious and scared, his adjustment to home life has impressed the whole team. His foster mum tells us he is the most lovely, cuddly boy and has really began to trust her. He has been happy to have a bath and to be brushed. However we do think he will need a professional groom after Christmas.

Snickers follows his foster mum around the house with a wagging tail and is always ready for cuddles. He is still a little jumpy with quick reactions. Loves his walks on and off the lead but there is definitely room for improvement on his recall! He is also now housetrained.

Snickers lives with dogs and a cat and he would like a home with another small dog to play with and to help continue to build his confidence. But most of all he would like humans that have time to give him lots of cuddles, love and attention.

His Story
Snickers was found as a very young pup abandoned on a street corner. A local guard picked him up and gave him to a local woman. She left him with one other dog in an enclosed area in a yard with about 20 other dogs. She never touched him. When our volunteers visited the yard the lady asked for help in catching him. Having never known human touch this proved a difficult task. Eventually he he was in one our volunteer’s arms and we decided to take him under our care.

Snickers comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
