Meet Pumpkin… ❤

From her foster mum:-

Pumpkin is a super pup. She is small, weighing 14.5 kg and looks like she is crossed with a Shepherd and a Corgi! She has gorgeous silky thick fur, which doesn't shed as much as you would expect. We have had her a couple of months now and she has stolen our hearts. She gets on fabulously with our resident and visiting dogs and is friendly with all dogs she has met in the dog park. Pumpkin loves going there. It is one of her most favourite places and she goes there most days. She loves to be let off her lead and can outrun our dogs. She is very fast at chasing a ball as well as bringing it back. Pumpkin would really enjoy and benefit from agility and training games.

She is great at travelling, loves walking in her harness, sleeps well at night and is reliably toilet trained. She is a curious and friendly dog, keen to please, loves playing with toys and games and her dream would be to find a family where she can live happily and have an interesting and rewarding lifestyle with lots of fun.

Sadly she is not a fan of cats

Her Story
Pumpkin and her mum were cruelly abandoned on the outskirts of a village, left beside a holy cross—meant as a symbol of protection. Desperately seeking food and warmth, they tried to enter people’s gardens but were chased off with kicks and blows, forced to survive in the surrounding fields. Frightened and starving, they evaded capture until, fittingly, Pumpkin was finally rescued on Halloween.

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 5 years old

• Homes without a secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
