Nero - Adoption Pending
Saved from the kill shelter
10th March 2025 Nero is now in foster in Dorset.
Nero immediately showed his sparkling personality as soon as he arrived in foster. This is from his foster mum;-
Nero is a stunning boy, full of energy and kisses. He is playful but can easily settle down for some quiet time. He has been really quick with his house training and will use puppy pads if he can’t get outside. I am confident he will be completely house trained in a couple of weeks.
Nero plays for hours with our other foster dog so a lively and playful sibling would be good for Nero but he would also be just as happy as only dog.
He has met cats in a farm yard and showed no reaction, he was also not interested in the chickens. He walks beautifully on a lead and does not react to traffic.
He is medium size, slim with the most amazing coat.
His Story Nero was taken to the kill shelter by his owner and left to die. Fortunately a visiting rescuer noticed his sweet face and recognised his affectionate and friendly temperament. She asked for our help and we could not refuse. Due to lack of space Nero was taken to an awful shelter while he waited to come to the U.K. Thankfully we were able to bring within a few weeks.

Homes without direct access to a secure garden
Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours on a regular basis
