Nera is a 6-month-old puppy with a heart full of potential, but she’s a bit shy and reserved right now. This gentle little girl has had a tough start, and she’s still learning to trust the world around her. Nera is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can begin to blossom, build her confidence, and finally start to enjoy all the love life has to offer.
This shy pup may take some time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be the sweetest, most loyal companion. NerA needs a family or individual who understands that she’s a work in progress and will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and loved.
A calm and quiet environment with understanding humans is exactly what NerA needs to flourish. She’ll need a patient adopter who can help her with her socialization, guide her through new experiences, and celebrate each milestone along the way.
From her foster mum: Nera came to me on 25th March, she's an absolute poppet. Obviously she is wary of all people as she's not had any interaction with them before. She is still learning to walk on the lead and her new family will need to continue with this training. With her wariness of people her instinct is to hide. I have given her time on my lap every now and again to get her accustomed to being held. She took over the dog bed and my dog has allowed her to make it her safe space. Whomever picks this beautiful girl will need to continue this work both the handling and popping a lead on her even if it's in the house. Today she has ventured into the lounge. She's happy in the company of other dogs but does not like them in her face. She is very food orientated so this will help with training. With the correct care and attention she will bloom into a great companion.
