Meet Vanda - Shy but desperate for love

Vanda is such a brave young lady…..

Vanda came into foster in Dorset on 7th April 2025. She is a shy little girl but is quickly learning that she is now safe and does not need to fear the human hand.

Her Story Vanda was sadly found abandoned on the outskirts of town, an area known for being a dumping ground for unwanted dogs. It’s a harsh place with little food and many bigger, stronger dogs competing to survive. Her and her sister were only a few months old so they are so lucky to have survived. She has spent most of her life in the junkyard where life was just as terrifying. Whenever our volunteers visited she would hide away. We just could lot leave her there.

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours on a regular basis.
