Introducing Kai…..

Kai came into foster in Cumbria on 16th December 2024

Kai is a sweet but very shy and timid boy who is still finding his feet living in a home after living outside on a chain his whole life.

He is friendly but very wary of new people and noises. He is gradually getting more confident day and it is so rewarding to see him understanding that he is now safe.

Kai is asking for a quiet and patient home who will continue to help him leave the chain behind him and just be a happy dog.

History

Kai was put on the end of a chain at 4 months old. Our rescuer in Romania formed a relationship with his owner which enable her to vaccinate and regularly treat him for parasites. One day when she visited his owner told her that Kai has run away. The evidence suggested poor Kai has not run away but been thrown away. Our rescuer began searching for him and found him hiding behind some bins.

Freedom Angels regret we cannot consider applications for Kai from

  • People under 25 years old

  • People with children under 10 years old

  • Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

  • Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours on a regular basis.
