Meet Robin: The Shy Pup with a Heart of Gold

Say hello to Robin….

Hello, I’m Robin – a rather shy pup who’s been learning to trust my foster family in the short time I’ve been here. Despite my bashfulness, my playful side soon shines through!

I absolutely love my zoomies in the garden, frolicking with my teddies and chasing balls with boundless energy. I’m fully house trained and always ready for cuddles – especially if there’s a bit of pate involved!

I share my home with my foster parent and their two wonderful children – a 16‐year-old daughter and a 19‐year-old son, both of whom have partners. I must admit, I’m just as shy with them as I am with my foster parent at the moment.

There’s also a resident cat in the house. I might bark at him occasionally and even give chase, but don’t worry – it’s all in good fun, and nothing aggressive ever happens.

Born in April 2023 I’m slowly but surely opening my heart. I can’t wait to find a forever home where I can truly blossom!

His Story

Robin was was dumped in a supermarket carpark by a very busy road. He constantly shook his head and crossing the road became increasingly dangerous for him. It took some time to secure him, The vet treated his severely infected ear. Robin had some spikes stuck deep inside the ear and wounds from what we believe from an attack from a bigger dog. We think Robin must have tried to hide in the bushes when he was attacked and that is why the spikes were so embedded.
