Rex

Rex was rescued from one of the hated kill shelters in Romania.

He almost begged our rescuer to take him by placing his paw on the metal bars and not moving the whole time she was there!

We don’t know his life before the shelter but we suspect he may have belonged to someone as he is not afraid of humans. He was probably thrown away on the streets and caught by the dogcatcher or handed in to the kill shelter by his owner.

Sadly Rex's adoption fell through and he has had to go our kennels in Wiltshire.   He hates it there and cries when we take him back to his run.  Rex has been a street dog for some time so he is very possessive of food.  He does need a family with dog experience to slowly reassure him that his food will not run out.  He loves going for walks and is a happy little chap.

We feel so sorry for him especially in this damp weather. Please consider him.

Rex comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Rex:

  • People under 25 years old

  • People with children under 14 years old

  • Homes without a secure garden

  • Families with un-neutered dogs

  • Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.

Freedom Angels Romania regret that we can only place dogs and puppies in England, South and West Wales, and the Islands around the South Coast, due to logistical issues.
