Pablo was rescued from the kill shelter as a puppy and placed into a safe but awful private shelter. He had no bed, no blanket, no toys and never left his cell. Despite all this his spirit has not been broken. Pablo lived here for over a year until he was offered a foster home.

Here’s what his foster mum says about him:

He’s a sweet happy boy who is taking new experiences in his stride, he settled into the home within 2 days. Confident when he has trust in a human. Good to walk on a lead tho needs more training classes. Listens very well to commands and picks them up quickly. Pabs has a fantastic funny character bit of a loving plonker sometimes. cuddly boy who enjoyed an under leg scratch, he lifts it up for you!

He a submissive dog who would get along with most other friendly dogs. No food aggressions, not greedy, doesn’t snatch food in fact he can be picky. Plays with soft toys. Mostly toilet trained slight wee when excited. Sleeps all night quietly in a crate. Would be good at agility… Can you offer Pablo the the loving home he deserves?

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden
