Ozzie

Ozzie was found near a veterinary surgery scared and abandoned.

Luckily one of our rescuers was able to get to her in time and she has been living in her yard waiting for her chance to come to the UK. 

Ozzie has now arrived in her foster home in Suffolk. Here's what her foster mum has to say about her:

“Ozzie settled in super quick and she is such a tiny, sweet girl. She is like a little shadow and likes to follow you around, but she does take herself away for a nap or to destroy a toy! She loves to cuddle close to you.

She has started to understand sit and also realize that not all food is for her. She is enjoying her walks and doesn't seem phased by anything. Had a few accidents toilet wise but starting to realize that it's only outside she should be going to the loo and has been signalling to go out.

Although she can currently be a bit territorial with our dog in terms of toys, it is only a little grumble and enjoys having the company of another dog. I think she would suit an adult only home with a resident dog who isn't too phased about another dog. Ozzie likes the company of people and having a resident dog makes it's easier for her to be left for short periods like we have been doing. She doesn't really like being left completely on her own.

Overall though she is a sweet little thing and is easily pleased with food, a comfy bed and someone to cuddle up to.”

• Homes without a secure garden

• Families with un-neutered dogs

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
