Meet Morell: A Sweet Soul in Need of a Loving Home
Meet Morell: a gentle and hopeful dog who was found all alone in fields
Morell was discovered all alone in the fields behind some apartment blocks. His sad, gentle eyes and vulnerable state make it hard not to feel a deep sense of compassion for him. Now, he's in a loving foster home, but he's still searching for that special someone to give him his forever home.
Update from his Foster Mummy 28/9/24
Weβve had gorgeous Morell (or Morrie as we call him) for two weeks now and he is showing us more and more of his personality every day. He is a little ray of sunshine, a sweet cuddle bug, with a touch of pocket rocket as he gains more confidence. Morris likes to relax (near us) or potter about outside. He really loves lying in the garden and seeks out sunny spots. He is fabulous on the lead and although he does love to stop for plenty of sniffs, when weβre moving I often have to check heβs still with me because he stays so close on a slack lead and is so little!
Morrie is a bit picky about his food, which means heβs completely trustworthy in the kitchen, and also means the things that he does like are great motivators.
Today we felt confident enough to try him off the lead and he was just great. We even had a little run side by side and I think itβs a sign of him wanting to be more playful. In summary, heβs very easy to have around, great company, will become very attached to his people, friendly and polite with all dogs weβve met so far (had a sweet, lively game of peek-a-boo with a black lab recently) and quite shy but calm with new people. Perfect for lovers of little dogs, looking for real companionship and fun.

When we asked Morell's foster mum to describe him, her first words were, "Heβs an absolute legend." Heβs only been in his foster home for a week, but it already feels like heβs always been part of the family.
Today, he ventured down the front path, happily sitting by the gate to watch the world go by. He met the postman, and a few neighbours stopped by to introduce themselves. Though a little shy at first, he was more than happy to accept their gentle strokes.
Morell walks well on the lead, and while heβs only going on short walks at the moment, his foster mum is confident heβd be up for longer adventures. Above all, Morell loves company, cuddles, chicken, and basking in the sunshine.
Now, all he needs is his forever home. Whatβs not to love about this guy? β€οΈ
