Meet Mickey: a resilient survivor from the junkyard, now ready for a loving home

Mickey was found on the outskirts of town near a junkyard when he was just a few weeks old. With nowhere else to keep him, our rescuer had to place him in the cat enclosure for safety.

Now, Mickey is being lovingly fostered in Berkshire and is ready for his next chapter.

Here is what his Foster Mummy has to say…

What an absolute sweetheart this dog is. Mickey is around 6 months old and is a typical pup who is in to everything. He loves attention and just wants to be loved. He responds when you correct him (if he jumps up or tries to get something he shouldn’t).

Mickey loves the other dogs in the house, of which there are 3, and he loves to play. He is slightly wary of new people, especially men, but gets over that with some patience and a few treats. We are continuing his socialisation. He definitely relaxes once he realises he’s getting fuss and attention! He’s had every toy out of the toy box and loves chewing on a bone.

I hope he gets a wonderful home as he is so loving and sweet.

• People with children under 5 years old

• People under 25 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
