Kira

We met Kira on our trip to Romania in October 2023

She was terrified shaking in her pen in what was one of the worst private shelters we had ever seen. After an urgent plea made on Facebook, we had a kind offer of a foster home for Kira. She is now safe in foster in Cheshire. Here is what her foster mum has to say about her:

She's still wary of the garden, so we just leave the back door open and eventually she will go out. She is very polite - she eats off her own plate in the kitchen with the others and never tries to steal their food!

She gets very giddy when you come back in the house after leaving her alone for an hour. She is quite bouncy and we think she would love to play with another dog who is of a similar size. Kira is a lovely dog and we hope she gets a lovely home, she certainly deserves it!

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Kira:

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 5 years old

• Homes without a secure garden

• Families with un-neutered dogs

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.

Freedom Angels Romania regret that we can only place dogs and puppies in England, South and West Wales, and the Islands around the South Coast, due to logistical issues.
