Ellie - Adoption Pending
Due to the ill health of her owners, Ellie is looking for another home.
Ellie was adopted 5 years ago and has been a perfect little girl. Sadly her owner now has dementia and he swings between being affectionate to Ellie and then screaming and shouting at her. His wife now has mobility issues so she is not getting walked. Obviously we have to urgently move her. Ellie is 6 years old and has lived the last 5 years in a family home. She is affectionate and good with children and other dogs. Always an enthusiastic welcome from Ellie when returning home. A very ‘waggy’ girl. Ellie has annual vet checks, is groomed regularly and last had worm and flee prevention in October. Next vaccinations are due in January She is happy with all in one dry foods but loves cooked chicken and will soon learn where the treats are kept. She prefers to eat nearby when the family has their meals Ellie is bright and understands a lot of what is said (but refuses to understand “sit”). She is house trained will occasional little puddles if she is stressed. She enjoys a cuddle on the sofa and will rearrange the cushions to her liking She walks well with a harness and lead, but doesn’t like getting her feet wet There are some before and after photos. The recent photos show that Ellie is overweight and needs to lose some pounds. She needs regular exercise. She has also just been groomed so minus her gorgeous coat.
