Lovely Luna needs a new home

Luna needs a new loving family

Luna has been living with her wonderful family for a year and a half, but recently one of the children in the house developed pnuemonia. She has not fully recovered and after testing it has been discovered that she is allergic to Luna! The family are heartbroken, but have no choice but to surrender her.

Her current Mum has written this glowing report for the little girl

Between mine and my husbands job there is normally someone home with Luna, however we have left her for up to 3 hours before and she doesn’t seem to be too concerned, just always pleased to see us.

When we got Luna from her foster home she was crated, so we have carried on with the crate here. She loves her crate and often chooses to go there, at bedtime we simply tell her bed and she trots off to bed and settles down happily. She has full run of downstairs and you will mostly find her where there is a human, she loves company.

Luna is generally nervous about anything new but with patience and time she finds a way and gets back to her usual self.

She is so well trained, fabulous recall, can jump through arms, waits, sits, hi 5, offers paw and loves receiving treats for being so clever! She is a character, whenever we go out, we often get stopped to ask what sort of dog she is and how pretty she is! She loves the beach, woods, countryside, she loves water, she loves running freely. She loves her buffalo horns and tennis balls but they never stay in one piece, neither do her soft toys..... but she absolutely loves them, especially if there is a squeaker in it. Be careful leaving shoes around as she loves the plastic ends on the laces πŸ˜‚

She is fine with fireworks, which surprised me as she is quite anxious. She really dislikes the car, we have just bought a travel crate for her and have that in the lounge and she will happily sleep in there and is slowly getting better, so that will still need some work on so ideally her new home won't be too far.

She has no known medical conditions. She has never shown any aggression at all, she barks when strangers come into the house, but other than that she is super soft and loving.

She just needs a house full of love, treats, toys and cuddles!

Luna comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
