Ilsa
Ilsa has just arrived at her foster home in Wales.
Here is what her foster mum has to say about her…
Ilsa is a gorgeous, affectionate and very energetic (but small-sized) young lady with a lot of fun and love to offer.
Although shy at first, she’s very affectionate once she knows people and loves cuddling up for fuss and attention. Her whole body wiggles with her tail wags when she comes to greet you. She’s fully house-trained, and is totally relaxed left home alone for four hours in her puppy pen (crate training in process and going well!)
Ilsa loves going out for walks in the countryside, and is learning to walk nicely on the lead, but is understandably a bit nervous of seeing unfamiliar people or dogs (she tends to freeze up a bit). She gets on fine with our resident dog on walks but in the house we don’t mix them as our resident dog likes her own space. With proper introductions she may well be okay to live with another tolerant dog.
We haven’t cat-tested her, but she does show interest in chasing birds. At 14 months old, she’s essentially still a playful puppy, and she’s looking for a kind, patient home where she can take things at her own pace when it comes to new things. As she’s young and energetic she’d prefer to live with a person who also enjoys walks and play.
She’s very smart and food motivated, takes food gently, is relaxed left home alone, and she’s not noise sensitive.
Ilsa comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Ilsa:
People under 25 years old
People with children under 10
Homes without direct access to a secure garden
Families with un-neutered dogs
Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
Freedom Angels Romania regret that we can only place dogs and puppies in England, South and West Wales, and the Islands around the South Coast, due to logistical issues.
